About Me
I am an Assistant Professor of Strategy at European School of Management and Technology (ESMT) Berlin.
My research examines the social and cultural dynamics that shape the evaluation of novel ideas, particularly in entrepreneurial contexts. I develop three interrelated streams: 1) how entrepreneurial discourse influences audience evaluation, 2) how audience discourse guides entrepreneurial action, and 3) how biases and inequalities affect these evaluative processes. Methodologically, I draw on large-scale textual and network data from digital platforms, applying social network analysis and machine learning methods to capture how novel ideas are communicated, interpreted, and evaluated.
I received my Ph.D. in Management from INSEAD and my B.A. in Economics from Dartmouth College.
